Bartolino's...what can I say.

I have know you guys for over 40 years. Bart Sr, John, Bart, Jr., Mike & Chris. We have watched you grow from little boys to men.

You have taken the tradition from LaCino's, started by Nick, Rose, Bart, Sr. & RoseAnn and have continued growing the business into what it is today.

How proud your mother and grandparents must be looking down on you and seeing the success you have achieved!!

You can certainly see the sparkle in Bart, Sr. when he speaks of his boys. He is so produ and rightfully so of how they have learned from him and your mother and grandparents to create such fine restaurants and how you have made many, many friends along the way.

When you think of Bartolino's, you think of EXCELLENCE and this will only go forward to bigger and better things in the future.

Great luck in the future for the Saracino family!!!!!!!!!! You deserve all that is coming to you and you should be proud of your accomplishments!!!!!

Hello to all at Bartalino's--I just wanted to say Thanks to all of you who made me feel so at home when I was in St Louis for 6weeks. I wondered around The Hill looking for a nice restaurant. I was enduring radiation treatments at the time and was also bald from chemo. I went in a couple of the restaurants--never made to feel comfortable until Bartalinos!!!! I walked in a very unsure, nervous blad headed girl with a ball hat and walked out a very comfortable friend to all at Bartalinos.
Bart, I hope all is well with you. Almost all of my treatments are done the last one January 22nd. So I hope to have a celebration dinner. Of course that being at Bartalinos. You may not recongize me I have hair now!!!! no more hats for this chic.
To anyone wondering if this is the restaurant for you. I say ABSOLUTELY!! Everything I tried I liked. The Pizza is also delicious. The Bartenders can mix a mean drink and are alot of fun to talk with.
The last time I was in I saw a man I recongized in the restaurant. As it turns out he is one of your "regulars" he also visits The Patio Restaurant in Quincy, Il where I am a server. I said Hello to him. we chatted. He bought my sister and I lunch. Just goes to show you what great people you have frequenting your place.
I cant recall the servers name but the last time I was in he to was very nice--even asked how my Mom was doing--she had dinner with me a few times during my 6wk stay. Be sure to tell him Hi.
Hope to see you all soon.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I hope to see you around The end of January at the "New Place"

Best Wishes to you all

Bart and Linda,

I have many happy memories at Bartolino's. It first started when I worked for you guys as a part time bartender (w/Michael Ganniger). You Bart and Michael taught me a lot about bartending. But in recent years I've enjoyed having dinner with my family or just having a drink or 2 or 3 at the bar with the regulars and you guys. You both always made me and my family feel welcome. I'm going to miss the old place but I'll still come and visit at the new place.

Congratulations on your new endeavor!

Your friend,
Connie Hoffmann

Dear Saracino Family,

Congratulations on the first 40 years, and great success in the next 40 (Highway 40 not withstanding)!

Most of my memories center on St. Louis U. High and soccer. Special dates were Mark Valdez's high school graduation dinner, and the Duke soccer team in 2006 prior to game with SLU. Dinner must have been very good since the Blue Devils beat the Billikens.

Capping my federal career in March 2007 with my children and best friends at Bartolino's was a wonderful way to close out the old and make ready for the new.

So I salute your past and anticipate many more enjoyable evenings at your table....

Pat and I have almost 30 years of memories, fun, and great food to recall at Bart's. We remember when Bart had all that hair and was working the front door, even busing a table or two! We remember saying that kid knows how to work a room! LOL We remember more than a few neat personalities who worked at the restaurant.

Plenty of memories also bringing wrestlers like David Von Erich, King Kong Brody, Dick Murdoch and Big John Studd to eat during my "Wrestling at the Chase" days. They all loved the food and the atmosphere.

Most of all, though, the fun with our daughter Kelly sticks out. From bringing her in a "pumpkin" seat to set on the table..to the pizza window in the dining room that her fascinated at age 5 or 6...to Bart teaching Kelly how to twirl her pasta and it is correctly...to Jim getting her to eat toasted ravioli (not much look on anchoves though)...to bringing her and her teammates in select volleyball and softball to Bart's after games and tournaments...now she's in Boston and waiting to hear how the new spot is...

to just plain knowing that the best pizza in St. Louis is also served at such a comfortable, friendly spot.

Best of luck, Bart, and we'll see you very soon!

I am so excited for the grand opening or should I say grand re-opening! Jason and I have had so many wonderful memories there from our engagement to our rehearsal dinner and anniversaries... Thank so much for always making us feel at home. We're looking so forward to seeing the new place and have a $50 gift card burning a whole in our pockets. Thanks for all of the lovely memories and we're certainly looking forward to making more.

Knowing Bartolino's is our favorite, my in-laws sent me this link. My husband and I are native St. Louisans and while we live in Virginia now, we visit annually. Bartolino's is date night for us, every year. Best of luck with your new venture and we'll see you in June:).

We Love Your Food, your restaurant is our favorite Italian restaurant anywhere.
We buy your Marinara Sauce by the case, so we can even enjoy Bartilino's at home.
No other Sauce compares (Garlic!).We went to the new Osteria Location last night 2/29/08 we were really impressed with the new facility, but my wife, my mother and I have to say, with all respect, we prefer the menu/food of the Traditional Bartilino's Restaurants. We didn't feel the salad was as good, and even though we ordered The Pasta we usually do, with Marinara Sauce, and mom ordered a chicken dish, it was by no means the same or as good. For us we feel that you have had a Great product, and understand you want to try new things, but sometimes I'm not sure you realize just how good something may have been until it’s changed, we think you’ve always been great. We will continue to go to the South County Location, and enjoy all of our favorites. (As a matter of fact I called the South County Location, and Spoke with Manager “Jared” and he assured me that they have not changed. See Ya at South County Next Time! All the Best!

Bartolino's has always been great. Many happy occasions there. Also, did some of my romancing at not only Bartolino's but at the pre Bartolino's The Huddle. Now that was a long, long time ago.

Will be at the Osteria next week. Can't wait!

My husband and I spent our very first Valentines together at the Hampton Location 9 years ago. We ate at Bartolino's the night he proposed. We had dinner at Bartolinos the very first time we went out after our oldest daughter was born. My husband also got the Cordon Blue(our Favorite) as take out when I was in the hospital with out youngest daughter. The meals we have had at Bartolino's on Hampton have been included in very important milestones in our lives. We are very excited to visit your new location to celbrate our 6th Wedding anniversary! We will however miss the Cordon Blue. Maybe you can make a Special!

Many a wonderful dinner was enjoyed by our family and friends at Hampton and Columbia.
It is the first place we took our future son-in-law for dinner when he moved to town.
It is where he insisted on having their rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.
One year we brought Bart a bottle of my favorite fresh Umbrian EVOO as a Christmas gift. It was great fun to watch his buddies at that table back by the kitchen as they polished it off.
Buona fortuna in your beautiful new location.
Please put the limoncello in the freezer for us. We will be there soon.
